I went out at lunch to try an experiment about discovering things without using the internet.

It didn't really work.

I didn't particularly feel like photographing shops or turning my lunch break into a research project.

The one thing I did photograph was this.

I'd ended up here because I'd bought a surprise bag through Too Good To Go.

Which slightly ruins my experiment.

Or possibly makes it more interesting.

An app had sent me somewhere I wouldn't necessarily have chosen, to collect food I hadn't chosen either.

We normally talk about algorithms removing serendipity.

This one manufactured some.
